Email woes…

posted in Uncategorized |

Due to the crash of our servers this past fall, we not only lost our old website, but we also lost our old email addresses.

Not to fear: Gmail is here!

For your all-purpose inquiries, please email us mist.info@gmail.com!

Regional email addresses that depended on the old website have also been replaced. You can visit our Contact page to get all the up-to-date information about how you can reach us nationally and how you can get in touch with your local Regional Registration Headquarters.

No, there was no certain situation. MIST, just like any other respectable event, has a certain atmosphere that must be protected in areas such as dress code and also in other areas, such as in behavioral rules, etc.

why aren’t we allowed to wear jeans? we can just wear long tops or something

MIST is a professional and academic event. Jeans are casual and are not suitable in such an environment.

Are women required to cover their heads with scarves (hijab)?

  6. 6 On February 19th, 2007, Ahmed Salim said:

As hijab is a religious symbol, MIST cannot compel anyone to take part in any religious activity unwillingly. That being said, the hijab is a set of guidelines for clothing that Muslims, both men and women, adhere to. In an attempt to foster an environment representative of Muslims and Islamic ideals, we do encourage our participants to help build such an environment by participating in Muslim manners and dress.
