Graphic Designer
In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that resonates with our audience and strengthens the MIST brand identity. You will work closely with the Outreach & Marketing team to ensure that all digital and print materials are aesthetically cohesive, professional, and aligned with our national standards.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Content Creation
Design high-quality graphics for social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) to drive engagement and awareness.
Develop promotional content for national campaigns, announcements, and initiatives, ensuring all assets align strictly with MIST’s National brand guidelines.
Event & Material Design
Create digital and print collateral for MIST events, including flyers, brochures, badges, and signage.
Support the creation of merchandise designs and other branded assets as needed for tournaments and summits.
Resource Development
Design and maintain reusable templates for social media graphics, slide decks, and documents to streamline workflow for the wider team.
Collaborate with the Director of Outreach & Marketing to refresh visual assets and keep the brand image modern and dynamic.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom).
Experience using Canva for quick asset creation and template management.
Familiarity with Figma is a strong plus.
A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in branding, typography, and layout design.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment and meet deadlines.
Availability to commit 3-5 hours per week (with potential for increased hours during peak tournament season).
