Head of Growth
The Head of Growth is a key position responsible for driving the expansion and increasing the reach of MIST National. This role focuses on identifying underserved markets and demographics, designing effective localized strategies, and translating these strategies into measurable growth for the entire MIST organization.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Gap Identification
Conduct thorough market research to identify geographical or demographic outreach gaps where MIST's presence is minimal or non-existent.
Analyze competitor activities and internal performance data to pinpoint areas of opportunity for expansion and revitalization.
Strategic Planning and Localization
Develop comprehensive strategies for expansion into new regions, ensuring alignment with MIST's mission and national brand.
Craft and implement localized outreach plans, tailoring messaging and engagement tactics to resonate with specific cultural and community needs within target areas.
Collaboration and Execution
Work cross-functionally with the Regional Startup Coordinator and other directors to provide strategic guidance on new market entry.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for growth initiatives and regularly report progress and insights to the Director of Outreach & Marketing.
Qualifications
Proven strategic planning or consulting experience, preferably within non-profit management, marketing, or expansion initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and translate findings into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of pitching expansion strategies and leading collaborative efforts.
Demonstrated ability to create and execute detailed, localized outreach plans.
Availability to commit 5-7 hours per week
