Internal Programs Coordinator

The Internal Programs Coordinator will plan and facilitate the execution of internal events and mentorship programs for the greater MIST community. They work closely with the Director of Programs to facilitate programming for MIST organizers. They will liaise with regions, MIST partners, alumni, and the broader MIST network to develop meaningful connections and experiences across the organization, such as internal thematic workshops and speaker sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Design and Development

    • Meet with the Director of Programs and the programs team to understand organizational goals and brainstorm ideas for programming. 

    • Design programs and conduct outreach to speakers and participants.

  • Program Implementation

    • Convey programming plans, procedures, and guidelines to regional counterparts and other stakeholders. 

    • Attend all internal programming, and participate when relevant. 

Qualifications

  • Desired 2 years of experience as a MIST organizer or other event planning.

  • Availability to commit 3-5 hours/week.
