Regional Operations Coordinator
Coordinators will play a vital role in fostering leadership and ensuring the smooth functioning of various regional operations. Your focus will be on enhancing the quality of regions through continuous training and support, fostering a culture of excellence and adherence to MIST best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership Development
Conduct onboarding training for new Regional Director and Associate Director hires in each region
Elevate the leadership quality of RDs and ADs through development initiatives and project management coaching
Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with RDs through regularly scheduled check-ins.
Collaborate closely with RDs and ADs to help them navigate operational challenges in their regions
Operational Support
Review regional organizational charts and decision-making rights for compliance with MIST best practices
Provide ongoing support by resolving logistical issues, enhancing recruitment strategies, and optimizing organizational structures
Feedback and Best Practices
Facilitate the regional peer feedback process in collaboration with the HR department
Collect and disseminate operational best practices from across all regions to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Training and Development
Assist in planning and executing training and development activities for organizers, including the annual MIST leadership support
Qualifications
Previous experience in a MIST leadership role
Cannot be in an active current MIST regional role; if currently in a regional organizing position, they would have to resign from their current position. Can still be a regular volunteer for any region, but may not hold any title/position
Strong organizational and project management skills
Positive mental attitude with a focus on fostering a collaborative environment
Availability to commit 2-5 hours per week
Previous experience in a MIST Regional or Associate Director position is desired.
