Registration Coordinator
The Registration Coordinator is the bridge between MIST’s participants and the National Technology team, focusing on the end-to-end registration experience. This critical position ensures that competitors, coaches, and organizers can navigate the myMIST system seamlessly, providing immediate support for issues and systematically gathering feedback for future system improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Troubleshooting
Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal users regarding all myMIST registration concerns.
Diagnose and troubleshoot reported registration issues, working quickly to guide users to solutions or escalating technical faults to the Technology team as necessary.
Help develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, including FAQs and guides, to address common user registration issues proactively.
System Liaison & Feedback
Act as the essential liaison between the customer base (competitors, coaches, organizers) and the National Technology team.
Systematically collect, document, and categorize end-user feedback regarding the usability and functionality of the myMIST system.
Work with the Technology team and the Associate Director of Communications to prioritize system improvements based on collected user data and pain points.
Qualifications
Proven experience in customer service, technical support, or help desk environments.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and patiently.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for tracking, categorizing, and reporting user feedback and issues.
Demonstrated aptitude for learning and troubleshooting complex software systems (like myMIST).
Availability to commit 3-6 hours per week
