Social Media Manager

This role ensures consistent, high-quality content delivery across all platforms, manages community interaction, and leverages data to drive continuous strategic improvement across all digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Execution & Curation

    • Manage and execute daily posting schedules across all primary platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant social media channels.

    • Curate and maintain the visual aesthetic and thematic consistency of the MIST National Instagram feed.

    • Coordinate with the Graphic Designer and Videographer to ensure timely posting of all designed and produced media assets.

  • Community Engagement

    • Actively monitor social channels and engage with the community by responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions.

    • Identify, track, and monitor emerging social media trends, providing the team with new content and platform opportunities.

  • Performance Analysis & Strategy

    • Track campaign performance, compile engagement metrics, create detailed reports, and provide actionable insights that inform future content strategy, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

    • Utilize and manage social media scheduling and analytical tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) to optimize publishing efficiency and measure results.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for an organization or brand across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

  • Expertise in executing content calendars and utilizing social media scheduling and analytics tools (Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).

  • Strong understanding of key social media metrics (engagement rate, reach, impressions) and experience in reporting on performance.

  • Excellent written communication skills for community engagement.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment and meet daily operational deadlines.

  • Availability to commit 3-6 hours per week.
