Social Media Manager
This role ensures consistent, high-quality content delivery across all platforms, manages community interaction, and leverages data to drive continuous strategic improvement across all digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content Execution & Curation
Manage and execute daily posting schedules across all primary platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant social media channels.
Curate and maintain the visual aesthetic and thematic consistency of the MIST National Instagram feed.
Coordinate with the Graphic Designer and Videographer to ensure timely posting of all designed and produced media assets.
Community Engagement
Actively monitor social channels and engage with the community by responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions.
Identify, track, and monitor emerging social media trends, providing the team with new content and platform opportunities.
Performance Analysis & Strategy
Track campaign performance, compile engagement metrics, create detailed reports, and provide actionable insights that inform future content strategy, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
Utilize and manage social media scheduling and analytical tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) to optimize publishing efficiency and measure results.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing social media accounts for an organization or brand across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
Expertise in executing content calendars and utilizing social media scheduling and analytics tools (Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
Strong understanding of key social media metrics (engagement rate, reach, impressions) and experience in reporting on performance.
Excellent written communication skills for community engagement.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment and meet daily operational deadlines.
Availability to commit 3-6 hours per week.
