Spirit and Culture Coordinator
The Spirit and Culture Coordinator will plan and facilitate the execution of external events and mentorship programs for the greater MIST community. They work closely with the Head of Spirit and Culture to facilitate peer-to-peer programming and mentorship initiatives for competitors. They will liaise with regions, MIST partners, alumni, and the broader MIST network to develop meaningful connections and experiences across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Program Design and Development
Meet with the Director of Programs and Head of Spirit and Culture to understand organizational goals and brainstorm ideas for programming.
Develop and implement tools and materials for the launch of peer-to-peer and mentorship programs to connect participants.
Program Implementation
Convey programming plans, procedures, and guidelines to regional counterparts and other stakeholders.
Maintain contact with participants in spirit and culture programming to guide and improve participant experience.
Qualifications
Understanding of MIST culture, values, and tournament structure.
Desired 2 years of experience as a MIST organizer or other youth programming, preferably spirit, programs, or experience.
Availability to commit 3-5 hours/week, more during regional planning period (typically Dec-Mar).
